13 Freed Hostages Enter Israeli Territory, Officials Say

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said 13 released Israeli hostages had entered Israeli territory late Friday, November 24, hours after they were freed as part of a four-day ceasefire. The freed hostages had received an initial medical assessment and were being taken to Israeli hospitals where they would be reunited with their families, the IDF said. A total of 24 hostages were released by Hamas on Friday, the Qatari government said, including 10 Thai nationals and a Filipino citizen. The hostages were freed as part of a prisoner exchange in which 39 Palestinian women and children were released from Israeli prisons, the Qatari government said. Credit: IDF via Storyful
