The Temper Trap, Christine Anu and Tim Finn will soon assemble for NightFest’s “strongest line-up” ever.
Across four October nights, live music, illuminated gardens, entertainment, food and family-friendly activities will keep us entertained into the evening.
Indie rockers The Temper Trap (the same ARIA-winning artists behind the multi‑award‑winning hit ‘Sweet Disposition’) will be headlining the event.
Fellow headliners Tim Finn, Pacific Avenue, Busby Marou and Christine Anu will join them, along with some of Canberra’s best local performers.
Events ACT Executive Branch Manager Ross Triffitt described the 2026 program as a new high point for the event.
“This is the strongest line-up in NightFest’s history and reflects the incredible growth of the event.
“We’re bringing some of Australia’s most celebrated performers to Commonwealth Park, alongside the spectacular illuminated gardens and experiences that make NightFest unlike anything else in the country.
“With only four nights and tickets on sale now, we encourage people to secure their tickets early.”

The ticket drop comes as the finishing touches are put on Commonwealth Park, before Floriade opens in early September.
This year, the event promises to feed our stomachs under the theme ‘Feast of Flowers’.
Dogs’ Day Out and the Great Big Bulb Dig have also been confirmed for the program.
Last year was Floriade’s biggest ever year, with 519,413 visitors stopping by to smell the flowers (easily beating the 2019 record of 507,550).
ACT Government data also revealed that the school holidays drew more than 308,000 visitors through the gates, while about 44 per cent of attendees travelled from interstate.
NightFest tickets are on sale now. Buy your tickets (and see the full program) on the Floriade website.
Floriade will bloom between 12 September and 11 October, while NightFest will run from 1 October to 4 October.
