Dog of the Week: Simba
Who among dog lovers doesn’t need a little goofy Staffy charm in their lives? That’s what Simba brings. A lovely little guy with a long life of joy ahead of him.
He’s around two years old and pretty intelligent. He arrived at our shelter with very little training, but he responds well to positive reinforcement, and he enjoys the company of people.
If you have a similarly sized dog with a calm temperament, Simba might do well and become part of a dynamic duo in your household. He just wants to be included in whatever the family is doing.
He’s still very young; he has that wonderful Staffy smile and the loyalty that Staffies show when they’ve found their perfect human. What’s not to like?

Cat of the Week: Spooky
Spooky’s bio on our website tells the story: “He has remained one of the sweetest, most loving cats you could ever hope to meet. Gentle, affectionate, and full of love to give, he has a way of melting hearts wherever he goes.”
He’s very chatty, which you’ll notice immediately. He will greet you and then start up the conversation. A lovely cat and great company for a quiet home.
He’ll happily keep you company with his little conversations and reward every cuddle with endless affection. His tendency to vocalise everything also means he’ll tell you when it’s time for dinner.
After spending the past few weeks in our care, Spooky has truly come out of his shell and is now ready for the fresh start he deserves. All he’s looking for is a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them in return.
