Wimbledon has announced they will drop their ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes and allow them to play “as long as” Russia doesn’t fund their trip there, says The Rogue Bogues Podcast Host Andrew Bogut.
“I’m not going to be different to a local Russian here in Australia – I’m going to treat them as a human being,” Mr Bogut told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“I think this has all gone a little crazy – there’s two sides to every war.
“I don’t think there’s any victors in these kinds of wars and there’s always disgusting things that happen on both sides, but to take this to sport and what Wimbledon did in the first place I strongly disagree with.”
