Climate Change and Energy Minister Chris Bowen has increased attacks on the Coalition’s energy plan in the lead-up to the Dunkley by-election.

Mr Bowen says Peter Dutton’s nuclear stance is a ‘triumph of culture wars over climate pragmatism’.

The minister believes the alleged boom in small modular nuclear reactors is a ‘mirage.’

With the opposition’s plan to install them goes against economic rationalism.

The Coalition is close to completing its energy and climate policy.
