Sky News host James Macpherson says the Country Fire Authority captains “have warned” they are in a worse position than before the 2019-20 wildfires.
Mr Macpherson said 429 of their vehicles are 25 years old.
“Another 193 of the Country Fire Authority’s vehicles are more than 30 years old.
“So, they are being very critical of the state government.
“What we do need though is firefighting equipment.”
