Fiji heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is confident of defending the title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, on Saturday, August 31.

According to the Fiji Sports Council (FSC) Media, Singh said he has done the hard yards and is ready to step into the ring to defend the title.

Also, Dauloloma is hopeful of repeating his performance in June where he stopped Singh in the second round to claim the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt.

Both boxers have recorded a win each and this fight will be the decider.

Bluewater Boxing Promotions promoter Samir Khan is ready to assist the winner to further improve his world rankings by getting in top overseas boxers.

The main bout sees homeboy Junior Binnu Singh taking on Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title.

Mudaliar in an interview early this week indicated that he has made the 57 kilogramme weight limit and would be maintaining the weight right to fight day.

In other interesting bouts veteran Savenaca Naliva takes on Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight clash while Ronald Naidu faces Rakuro Dauvavana.
