A primary school aged boy has suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a car in northwestern Sydney.
The Mounties CareFlight Helicopter received the call from NSW Ambulance to respond to a primary school aged boy who was struck by a car in Riverstone about 3.45pm on Wednesday.
He suffered head and neck injuries during the incident.
The boy was treated on the scene by the specialist doctors and paramedics on board the CareFlight helicopter.
Once they landed in Sydney, the boy was taken by road ambulance to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a serious but stable condition.
