Wagga Wagga-born and Melbourne-based songwriter Snowy will be returning to the capital this weekend. Head to Dissent to catch him with Strawberry Prince and Angel Waste in support.

Singer-songwriter and one-man encyclopaedia of Australian folk music, Archer, will be in town this week. He’ll be performing alongside the 28-piece Canberra Brass band at Belco Arts on Saturday night.

Smith’s Alternative’s famous locals-only band night, Band Beng Bing Bong Bung, is back again. The likes of Bare and Loop, St Reckless, Sanctimonious Fux, Wisterias, and The Rain Gauge will be taking to the stage on Saturday evening.
