Dog of the Week: Bella

With her beautiful face, long legs and gorgeous ears, Bella is an absolute stunner.

But it’s her gentle nature, lovely manners and affectionate personality that will really steal your heart. Having lived with children and loved their company, Bella knows what it’s like to be part of a family and now hopes to find someone special to call her own.

Bella would thrive in a quieter home where she can relax, feel safe and enjoy plenty of love and companionship. She could be a wonderful match for a retired couple or someone looking for a loyal friend by their side as often as possible.

She’s the kind of girl who will form a strong bond with the person who gives her a chance, and once you’re her person, you’ll have a best friend for life.

Bella needs a patient, understanding home that lets her settle in at her own pace and helps her confidence grow. Give her the time and reassurance she needs, and she’ll reward you with all the love she’s been waiting to share. Could Bella be your perfect match?

Cat of the Week: Hank

Hank has been in our care for over three months, and we’re hoping his forever family is just around the corner.

When he first arrived, he was very unsure of his surroundings and the people around him. He’s still learning that human company can be a good thing, but he’s making progress in his own adorable way. These days, when staff sit with him, he’ll often potter nearby, enjoying their company as he rolls around. With that cute little face, it’s hard not to fall for him.

Hank is what we lovingly call a project cat. He’ll need an understanding adopter who is willing to take things slowly, respect his boundaries and help him build confidence through patience and positive experiences.

One thing that has really helped Hank blossom is having a feline friend. He’s recently been sharing a condo with another young cat, Freddy, and the pair are thriving together. They’re often found sleeping side by side, playing and grooming one another, and their friendship is helping Hank grow in confidence. They don’t need to be adopted together, but they could head off to their new home as a duo. Hank also loves his food, which is always a handy way to win him over.

We know Hank may be overlooked by people searching for an immediately affectionate companion, but we’d love potential adopters to give him a chance. Come spend time with him, let him approach you on his own time, and get to know the sweet boy behind that adorable face. Hank has been waiting more than three months for someone to see his potential.

Could you be the person he’s been waiting for?
