Nala is looking for a quiet home to live out the rest of her days. Photo: RSPCA ACT.
We want each one of our animals to be adopted, that never changes, but we are just a little more keen to see Nala find a new home. You see, she needs a retirement home.
Nala is a 10-year-old Staffy X who only knows homestyle living. She’s sweet and friendly because she’s lived with people all her life and knows how it all works. She must be quite out of place being at our shelter instead of the foot of a bed.
This is a great dog, ready to move into your home. The perfect fit would be someone who can bond with her and spend most days around the house, not necessarily being all over each other, but just keeping each other company. A retired person or couple perhaps?
She has lots of love to give and we’d dearly love to see this little girl find a calm, peaceful home to enjoy her twilight years.
Oh, Mandy, you came and you gave without taking … Photo: RSPCA ACT.
This is a sweet little girl named Mandy. She’s just turned 1 year old, and she’s a domestic shorthair cat with lovely markings and features.
Like so many of our cats, Mandy has spent time with a foster carer in a home, which means not only do we get to know all about her personality, we also get these terrific ‘poser’ photos.
Again, like many other shelter cats, she takes a little time to warm up to you and can be shy. But the great news is she’s super friendly and affectionate when she gets comfortable. Genuinely a smoochy cat, she loves people and will snuggle up to you.
Why not add a new cat to your home and instantly double the amount of love! You can meet Mandy today.
Pawnotes: We started this week with zero cats available for adoption – quite a rarity. Already we have lots here again, ready for adoption! Things change quickly at a shelter.
