Sean Penn has paid tribute to fellow actor Matthew Perry following his tragic death last month.
The 54-year-old actor was found dead in a jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home on October 28.
“It’s tragic, I can’t say I was terribly surprised,” Penn told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“I know he had done a lot of damage to his organs over the years.”
The actor also expressed his sympathies to Mr Perry’s family.
