Jocelyn Kelleher also set a new record for the most goals in an NRLW match, landing nine conversions from 12 attempts.
Speaking to Sky Sport after the match, stand-in Warriors captain Kaiyah Ahi admitted the result was a tough pill to swallow.
“It’s pretty tough losing by that much,” Ahi said.
“I definitely think we kept showing up for each other. When you give a team like the Roosters that much ball, they’re going to come out with a scoreline like that.
“I think we just didn’t get into the game cycle and it was shown they were just scoring set after set, but once we got into the game cycle and got our rhythm, we got good ball and we were able to score off that.“
The Warriors were unable to match the Roosters’ intensity and were limited to just 35% possession.
They completed only 12 of their 20 sets and ran for 607m, compared with the Roosters, who completed 28 of 37 sets and ran for 1559m.
Stacey Waaka and Mele Hufanga scored the Warriors’ only tries.
Their previous biggest defeat had also come against the Roosters, when they went down 30-6 last season.
Despite the heavy loss, the Warriors remain sixth – holding the final NRLW finals spot – with a 4-4 record and three games remaining.
They will look to bounce back next week when they face the last-placed St George Illawarra Dragons in Auckland.
