After a bidding war, Devine was picked up by the Welsh Fire for the joint-highest price of the night along with Australian Beth Mooney, who was picked by
the Trent Rockets.
Ten players were given contracts over more than £100,000 in the Hundred auction, a competition where five years ago the highest salary was £15,000 ($34,000).
Last year the top salary was £65,000 ($147,000).
In November, Devine was also picked up in the Indian Premier League by the Gujarat Giants for $389,700 (US$223,000).
