Its worldwide total has now placed it within touching distance of Baahubali 2. That record has stood since 2017 and remains one of the most important benchmarks in Indian cinema history.

The film opened with massive numbers and kept its pace through the first five weeks. Week one alone brought in more than Rs 670 crore net, setting the tone for a rare box office run.

By the third week, the film had crossed Rs 1,000 crore net in India. That milestone made it one of the strongest domestic performers for a Hindi film.
