Thirteen people were injured – some seriously – in a two-vehicle crash in the Far North this morning.
A spokesperson for Hato Hone St John said the service was notified of the incident at 7.42am and sent three ambulances, a first response unit and a helicopter to the crash
site on Lamb Rd, Pukenui.
Seven people were transported to Kaitāia Hospital – three in a moderate condition, and four with more minor injuries.
Police and Fire and Emergency New Zealand also attended the scene, with two fire engines sent from Houhora.
