The Digicel Fiji Under-15 girls’ team is through to the final of the OFC U15 girls tournament after beating Tahiti 1-0 in their final Group B match at Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba, today.
Tarusila Maivunidawa scored the lone goal in the 21st minute after dribbling past three Tahiti defenders in a tough battle.
The Mini Kulas needed a draw to qualify after an impressive 13-0 win over Samoa and a 3-0 win against Tonga while Tahiti won 4-0 against Tonga and 6-1 against Samoa.
Fiji will face the winner of Group A in the final on Tuesday (May 14) at 4pm at Churchill Park, Lautoka.
