On Monday, incoming Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said he is negotiating about who will be in cabinet and who will get ministerial portfolios, after reaching agreements over policy with NZ First and ACT.
But NZ First leader Winston Peters was less optimistic, remarking to reporters on his way into a meeting with Luxon that it was “an assumption” to make such a claim.
Today is the 18th day since the election result was finalised.
