Emergency services at Pukerua Bay, Kapiti Coast, assisted a paraglider with a leg injury, on Saturday afternoon.
A paraglider suffered a serious leg injury when they crash-landed at Pukerua Bay on the Kapiti Coast on Saturday.
A police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Ocean Parade, at Pukerua Bay, at about 12.15pm following reports a paraglider was in trouble.
It appeared the paraglider crashed into a toilet block or the ground, she said.
They had a serious leg injury.
