Former attorney general Bill Barr – who notoriously had a complicated relationship with Donald Trump – has claimed the charges against the former president are “unjustified” and he’s being treated the same way he was with the Russiagate scam.
“As people know, I’ve had my differences with the president,” Mr Barr told Fox News.
“This situation I think – he’s being unjustly treated, just how he was with the Russiagate scam and the whole idea of the resistance.
“ I feel bad that this has happened and I don’t think it’s justified.”
